Place Review: Zordz Restobar
Zordz Restobar is one of the newest restaurant in the city but located outside of the city center. It is located in Barangay Taguanao, around 6 kilometers from the city center. We arrived at the place around 7 in the evening and the place is quite impressive with good landscaping and night lights. They have a live band playing when we arrived, I understand they play during weekends and the band plays good with its great selections too.
For the food, we ordered Pancit Cantoon Guisado, Macau Kawali and Kare-Kare. It took around 30 to 45 minutes for the foods to be delivered (so better be not so hungry when you go there). Food tasting review, Pancit Cantoon Guisado taste good and enough serving size for its P195 price. The other foods we order are a different story, the Kare-Kare is not so good and quite a small serving for the price of P265, it has lots of vegetables and a few beef tripes with some beef cubes most of it is bones, it comes along with an minuscule serving of ordinary bagoong and 3 very small slices of green mangoes. The macau kawali is the most expensive one for a price of P220 with only 5 very small slices of pork belly with a catsup as a sauce, its my first time to have a kawali with catsup as a sauce.
Overall, the ambiance of the place is good with its outdoor setting but sucks in food. Its good to go there for a drink with its quite pricey bucket of beer for P330. I advice not to go there if you are already hungry and looking for a quick and great dinner.
They also have KTV rooms at P200 per hour with good enough size for a group. Parking space is quite ample and lots of available spaces since its far away in the city center.
